Apple Brand Gating Policy

Apple branded products may only be acceptable on Merchandise Paradise by verified Apple Authorized Resellers or Apple Authorized Distributors.

Prohibited Without Exception:

  • Unauthorized Apple product listings
  • Dropshipping Apple products
  • Grey-market or parallel-import Apple inventory
  • Apple listings by non-authorized sellers

Requirements:

  • Written proof of Apple Authorized Reseller or Distributor status
  • Explicit approval of Merchandise Paradise sales URL by Apple (where required)
  • Agreement to Apple pricing, warranty, and brand presentation standards

Merchandise Paradise reserves the right to immediately remove listings and permanently
ban all vendors for these violations.

Nike Brand Gating Policy

Nike-branded products may only be sold by Nike Authorized Retailers or Nike-approved distributors.

Prohibited Without Exception:

  • Unauthorized Nike listings
  • Marketplace arbitrage or resale inventory
  • MAP violations or pricing manipulation

Requirements:

  • Nike Authorized Retailer approval documentation
  • Confirmation of approved ecommerce URLs
  • Compliance with Nike brand, pricing, and merchandising guidelines

VENDOR VERIFICATION REQUIREMENTS (RESTRICTED BRANDS)

Vendors applying to sell gated or restricted brands must submit the following prior to approval:

Required Documentation

  • Business license or incorporation documents
  • Government-issued ID (authorized signer)
  • Brand authorization letter or certificate (Apple / Nike)
  • Authorized reseller account confirmation
  • Approved sales channel URLs

Ongoing Compliance

  • Periodic re-verification
  • Audit rights for brand compliance
  • Immediate takedown upon brand request
  • Failure to maintain authorization results in suspension or termination.

STRIPE-SAFE RESTRICTED BRANDS POLICY

Merchandise Paradise restricts the sale of certain branded products to ensure compliance with Stripe’s Acceptable Use Policy and anti-counterfeit standards.

Restricted Brands

  • Apple
  • Nike
  • Any brand requiring authorization or trademark approval

Policy Controls

  • Manual vendor approval for restricted brands
  • Brand gating and SKU-level controls
  • Ongoing monitoring and enforcement
  • Immediate response to IP infringement notices

Merchandise Paradise does not permit counterfeit, unauthorized, or misleading brand listings. Vendors are the sellers of record and are contractually responsible for compliance.
